About Portabella
Since our opening in August of 1994 we have become one of St. Louis ’s premier restaurants, featured in several local and national publications. Our convivial atmosphere and consistent dining experiences sets the mood for an unparalleled culinary adventure. Our menus change seasonally to ensure freshness and to utilized our local farmers and growers. We offer an award-winning wine list and an extensive by-the-glass menu. As proud members of ‘St. Louis Originals’, a council of independent restaurant association, our goal is:

“To celebrate the spirit, strength, and unique experiences offered exclusively be independently owned restaurants, where chefs and owners live, work, play and invest in their communities”.

Reservations are suggested, but never required.

We offer custom-made gift Certificates in any denomination. Call ahead, and we’ll have yours prepared for pick up. We can also mail it to your recipient with your credit card authorization.

Private Dining and Catering
Portabella has rooms available to accommodate private parties from 10-60 people.We are glad to serve a plated six course dinner, happy hour appetizer buffet or anything in between.

From box lunches to weddings to intimate dinners for two, wherever your imagination takes you, we custom design a unique menu consisting of bold and exciting cuisine for each and every occasion. Whether large or small, we are here to assist you in making your event a grand success.

Each of our private dining rooms offers the same first class food and service.

The Summit Room offers dining for 30 people with built-in audio-visual equipment including a 8’x6’ screen and Sony media projector capable of ‘power point’ presentations, dvd/vhs viewing and much more. Our restaurant also has complementary wireless internet access throughout.

The Vintage Room accommodates 12 people with a 3’x4’ built-in screen and connections for audio-visual equipment.

Dinner Monday thru Thursday 5:30PM to 10:00PM
Friday and Saturday 5:30PM to 11:00PM
Sunday 5:00PM to 9:00PM
